FISHING LICENSES

A Washington State fishing license is required to fish any of the waterways in our area. You can purchase one in person at Midway Village & Grocery or online via the Washington Dept. of Fish & Wildlife website.

WHERE TO GO

Rivers & Streams

For the most part, it’s best to assume that you can’t fish any of our primary rivers or streams. There are areas that are open and there are special seasons in waters that are otherwise closed – to know what areas are open and their rules, check the WDFW Sportfishing Pamphlet. To find special seasons go to Emergency Fishing Rules.

Lakes

Our lakes (Lake Wenatchee and Fish Lake) are just about always open and fishable with a proper license. If you don’t have access to a boat we highly recommend heading to The Cove out at Fish Lake, where you can rent a small boat or just fish off the dock.
